Performances
Our programs are tailored to prepare your child these milestone events that will encourage confident & expressive personalities. All classes train technical skills, artistry & musicality however the experience of performing in front of others is the key to the development of each child’s unique character and builds a personal ‘presence’ that is evident when your child is amongst a crowd.
We often hear “My child is shy”. Our 23 years of successful performance seasons has shown that a shared group experience supports all levels of comfort as the camaraderie & bond is established within our class programs.
Theatre Performances
Mid Year Performance held in June each year is an introduction to a small theatre to explore stagecraft and theatre etiquette. Students showcase work taught in Terms 1 & 2.

Checkpoints
Three times a year, Dancestruck invites parents to observe a session where students present the work they have learnt in front of a live audience. Teachers use this internal Checkpoint to check on skill development as well as artistic & performance quality development. Working towards the checkpoint milestone is much anticipated event from teachers, students & parents
Performance Exams
Twice a year, Dancestruck conducts R.A.D Ballet Performance Exams & S.F.D. Jazz & Tap Performance Exams where external & independent examiners come to the studio to give feedback and assess students' performance. These exams syllabus at a global standard and are the stepping stones towards progression and graduation.
Community Festivals & Events
DanceStruck collaborates with local councils to perform in groups at festivals and community events. We also have performance opportunities to work with local primary schools events and in-house productions. These opportunities also allow our senior students to develop their own new choreographic works for our younger students to perform.
